The Atlantic County Scanner Frequency Directory contains user submitted radio frequencies, and related information.

Scanner radio monitoring is an enjoyable, and sometimes exciting hobby. However, new and updated information is vital to optimizing our Atlantic County monitoring experience.

Please post new information or updates in the comments of the appropriate municipality, or by email if you prefer to remain anonymous.

Absecon Police Frequencies

How come Absecon Police frequencies have not been available for like maybe at least 5- 10 years now?
Are there any listings? I bought a scanner to see what is happening in my area & all of a sudden they disappear.
very disappointed..

Absecon Police

Absecon Police operates on the Atlantic County Trunk Radio System. No information about the trunk system is posted here, so I will refer you to this link:

http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=3746

The information you would need in order to program it are listed there (System Information, Frequencies, and Talk Group Information)

You can program the system, however you probably won't be able to monitor the police because the system voice is ProVoice and analog. You can monitor analog but you can't monitor Pro Voice because no scanner on the marked can decode it. Although I don't monitor the system, I would imagine the police transmissions are Pro Voice. On most systems that are Pro Voice or mixed mode Pro Voice/analog, the law enforcement agencies use Pro Voice. Reason being, they just don't want us listening to them.

If you have any questions or need more info, post back and I or someone else will help you.
