Teamspeak Setup

This is a simple tutorial to get you up, and listening to live scanner feeds from around the country using TeamSpeak.

 

Before we begin:  Download the TeamSpeak Client.

Install the TeamSpeak Client, and follow the instructions below to connect for the first time.

Step 1:
Click Connection - Select Quick Connect

 

Step 2:
Type in the server address.
Choose a username - not mine.

Leave the other boxes empty.

 

Ok, that will get you logged in. Now you should register with the server.
NOTE: Not all administrators allow registration.

 

Step 3:
Click on Self - Select Register with server.

 

Step 4:

Fill in your desired username.
Complete the 2 password fields.

 

Step 5:
Click Connection - Select Connect.

 

Step 6:
Right click on servers - Choose Add Server.

 

Step 7:
Type in a server name.

Step 8:
Complete the information on the right of the screen.
The Nickname field is what other users will see.
Select the Registered Field.
Choose a Login Name & Password.

Click Connect.

That's all there is to it.
Now each time you want to connect to the same server just click on Connection - Connect.

Select the server.

Click Connect at the bottom right of the window.
